NW Metro Atlanta Habitat Announces The Election of 2018-2019 Board of Directors Officers

NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce its Board of Directors has elected the 2018-2019 officers.

Michael Christian, Chair:  Christian is a 41-year Cobb County resident and retired sales executive. He has been dedicated to NW Metro Atlanta Habitat since 1993 as a volunteer, crew and house leads. After retiring in 2005, his involvement grew, first as chairman of the Catholic Coalition which has built 37 homes; and later forming a 501(c)3 non-profit that raises funding for Habitat. In 2014 Christian was appointed to the board and elected Chair in 2018.

Gregg Corso, Vice-Chair:  Corso is a Cobb County resident and Financial Advisor with the Rogan, Singh, Agnone & Associates team at Merrill Lynch. Prior to moving to Atlanta, he headed one of the top Chase Private Client banking and advisory teams out of Pompano Beach, FL. Corso lives in Cobb County with his wife, Kelsey, and their young daughter.

Christopher Bailey, Treasurer:  Acworth resident Bailey is a partner of Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC, a CPA firm in Kennesaw. He earned a Master of Accountancy degree with a specialization in taxation from the University of Georgia. Bailey serves on the Cobb Chamber of Commerce finance committee and is treasurer of the Rotary Club of Marietta. He and his wife Margaret have two daughters and are active members of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church.

Sharon Y. Marshall, Secretary:  Marshall serves as First Vice President and Senior Financial Manager with SunTrust Banks, where she has worked for more than 30 years. Her passion for Habitat for Humanity started at SunTrust where, as a member of the HFH Coordinating Committee, she has worked on more than 20 houses and chaired the committee for the last three years. She is an active member of Buckhead Church and is a sustaining member with the Junior League of Atlanta. Marshall completed her undergraduate studies at Emory University and received her MBA at Georgia State University.
