Affiliate Awarded Independent Four-Star Rating

Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta is pleased to announce the affiliate has been awarded the highest available “Four-Star” rating by the leading independent evaluator in charitable giving, Charity Navigator.

Since 2001, Charity Navigator has empowered donors by providing free access to data, tools, and resources to guide philanthropic decision-making. With more than 200,000 charities rated, their comprehensive ratings reflect the cost-effectiveness and overall health of a charity’s programs, including measures of stability, efficiency, and sustainability. The metrics inform donors of not just where their dollars are going but what their dollars are doing. Drawing from a knowledge base of research, analysis, and constituent feedback, their team develops ratings that are both analytical and responsive to the data needs of users.

Our affiliate has worked extremely hard to meet the highest standards in the four areas by which Charity Navigator measures. Their Encompass Rating System™ provides a comprehensive analysis of charity performance across four key domains:

Impact & Results
Find out how much benefit the charity’s program(s) achieve relative to the cost required to run it.

Accountability & Finance
Find out if the charity is accountable, transparent, and financially efficient and sustainable.

Leadership & Adaptability
Find out if the charity has the leadership capacity, strategic plan, and ability to adapt or respond to changing circumstances to better achieve its mission.

Culture & Community
Find out if the charity implements practices that strengthen its overall organizational health and is responsive to its beneficiaries.

“This is an award in which to be very proud as a Habitat affiliate,” says Jessica Gill, CEO, of Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta. “Thank you to my staff, our board, and everyone in the Habitat family who has helped us become the respected organization we are today.”
