A huge Habitat shout out to The Home Depot Foundation for their commitment to Veteran home repairs. Thanks to the generosity of Home Depot, Robert Sparks, a Vietnam War Army veteran and retired Douglas County fire fighter and his wife Mozelle received a much-needed complete bathroom rehab. Thanks to our talented contractor Ryan, the bathroom was retrofitted to be handicap accessible with a walk-in shower, ADA toilet and handrails. The couple also now has handicap bars throughout their Douglasville home where they have lived for 47 years.
“I appreciate everything you all did for us,” said Mozelle. “We needed this so bad and it is just wonderful and such a blessing. When people come over, I can’t wait to show them the bathroom!”
