Sponsoring a build with Habitat does more than guarantee a day of camaraderie and fun. Your contribution helps us supply the materials and workforce necessary to build decent, affordable housing in NW Metro Atlanta.
Financial sponsorship is critically important to building strength, stability and self-reliance for the people we serve. Sponsor organizations work side by side with partner households to help them realize the dream of homeownership. Perhaps most significantly, the contribution made by the sponsor impacts generations in the future. Houses become homes, and those homes will be a presence in the community for generations to come.
Sponsor organizations have the opportunity to involve their employees in positive team-building experience. Teams are strengthened by working together to accomplish a goal. Churches benefit from the opportunity to put their faith into action. Neighborhoods are impacted by positive transformation and development. Individuals and families are given the opportunity to purchase a home and live in community with their neighbors. Habitat’s build season takes place from February to November. Sometimes, we need additional groups to help us build homes. These groups will be added to our waitlist for open opportunities in the build schedule. Submit our group form and the Volunteer Services Coordinator will reach out about tentative opportunities.
