Habitat for Humanity welcomes volunteers of all ages. Discover what youth opportunities are available for children and teens in 2024.
Join Habitat of NW Metro Atlanta as we have a year full of fun activities for children of all ages. Through hands-on or virtual activities, you can learn about construction and home improvement! Check back monthly to find out more about each of these activities.
As you and your family complete these activities, we want to hear from you! Participants who complete at least 5 activities will receive a prize! Photos of completed projects can be sent to volunteers@habitatnwma.org.
Youth Activity Calendar 2024
Join us on Saturday, March 2nd as we create recipe scrapbooks for Habitat’s 2024 homeowners. Children volunteers will bring a printed copy of their favorite recipe and will assemble the scrapbook pages. The completed scrapbook will be presented as a gift for the 2024 homeowners at their dedications.
Join us on Sunday, April 28th for Global Youth Service Day. For this service project, we will be making gifts for habitat homeowners as we welcome them into their new homes.
At Habitat, we work to strengthen our communities. Learn what makes a community string with this activity. Take a stroll through your community and play our walking bingo. Try to find all the things that make a neighborhood strong!
