Donate Cryptocurrency

Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta now accepts cryptocurrency donations through our profile at Every.org! With the increase in digital giving, nonprofits have the opportunity to engage new connections in a completely different way.

Cryptocurrency, defined by Forbes as, “decentralized digital money that’s based on blockchain technology,” works similarly to stocks in that donors give a gift digitally, which then must be converted to its cash equivalent and deposited in the nonprofit’s account. Examples of types of cryptocurrency include Bitcoin and Ethereum, but there are many others.
