First Homeowner of 2016

Marilyn My name is Marilyn and I was born in Puerto Rico. I graduated from the Metropolitan University of Aguadilla with a Master Degree in Business Administration. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the youngest in my family. I moved from Puerto Rico to Atlanta searching a better quality of life.

I have lived in Cobb County for about six years. I have three different jobs, the first one is as a Lead Teacher in a preschool, the second job is at a local Episcopal Church as an Administrative Assistant and my third job is with Cobb County School District as a Student Service Clerk in the Adult Education Center. All the jobs are in the Marietta Area.

I’m a very responsible young person who works so hard to achieve all my goals. I want to have a family, have my parents with me and own my own house.

I love to spend time with my family, friends, helping other people and enjoy volunteer works in different places.

Having a home means so much to me. God has blessed me. I thank God for this opportunity and I thank all the sponsors and Habitat for Humanity for all your hard work.
