On Friday, August 21, 2026, Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta welcomed volunteers from Nissan for a special build day in Douglasville.
Throughout the day, Nissan volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help advance construction on the future home of David, La’Vonda, and their growing family. Working side by side with Habitat staff and volunteers, the team completed interior painting and fascia work, helping bring the home one step closer to completion. Their investment of time, talent, and resources reflects the power of partnership in creating lasting impact for local families and communities.
Nissan has been a valued partner of Habitat for Humanity for more than two decades. Our affiliate is honored to be included in their large footprint to assist Habitat’s mission. Having them come alongside David and La’Vonda to paint their home was inspiring.
