The Atlanta Braves and NAPA Hit a Home Run for Neighborhood Revitalization

On August 21, 2026, Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta welcomed volunteers from the Atlanta Braves Foundation and NAPA Auto Parts for a Community Curb Appeal project in one of our Habitat neighborhoods in Cobb County. Together, we hit a home run for neighborhood revitalization, enhancing five Habitat homes and strengthening the community that local families proudly call home.

Our Community Curb Appeal program is all about neighbors helping neighbors. Habitat NWMA joins forces with local businesses, community groups, and resident families to refresh our streets and foster a lasting sense of belonging.

Volunteers spent the day enhancing five homes in Mableton through a variety of exterior improvement projects, including pressure washing siding and driveways, repainting house numbers on curbs, refreshing mailbox posts, clearing brush, laying pine straw, and spreading weed and feed. These improvements help preserve the beauty of the neighborhood while supporting homeowners who have invested in their community for years.

Thank you to the Atlanta Braves Foundation and NAPA for investing your people, time, and resources to enhance this community in Cobb County. Your valuable partnership continues to advance our mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
