As we wrap up another year of serving our community through affordable housing, we would like to thank everyone in the “Habitat Family” who made this year possible! Because of you, 10 new Habitat families are celebrating the holidays in their own homes for the first time! Because of you, these families will start the new year with a sense of strength and financial self-reliance like never before.
Our army of 1,927 Habitat volunteers gave an extraordinary 24,418 hours of their time building Habitat homes and performing repairs.
Thanks to funding from The Home Depot Foundation, Atlanta Regional Commission, Lockheed Martin, Wesco, and Cobb EMC, 15 United States Military Veterans and two Veteran widows were served through our Veteran Home Repair program. This program allows us to make safety and mobility upgrades allowing Veterans to have their dignity restored and comfortably age in place.
