WellStar Dedicates Habitat House

IMG_4871cropThe Marietta Daily Journal reported on May 8, 2016 that health care providers and administration personnel from WellStar Kennestone Hospital dedicated a Habitat for Humanity House in Powder Springs.  The house was built entirely by WellStar Affliated providers such as physicians, physicians assistants, anesthesists, CRNAs, nurses, technicians, administrators, staff and an army of recruited friends and family members.

The sponsors who “raised the roof” included Georgia Anesthesiologists, P.C., Pinnacle Orthopaedics, Quantum Radiology, KRMC Department of Ob/Gyn, WellStar Pulmonary Medicine, WellStar Cardiology, KRMC Department of Surgical Services and WellStar Kennestone Hospital Administration.

Columnist Sally Litchfield wrote that, “Due to the overwhelmingly positive response of those involved, GAPC President Dr. Eric Fishman believes this is the first of many collaborative efforts of this type.”
