St. John Vianney Catholic Church and Modern Woodmen of America Give $5000 to Build Homes, Community and Hope in Douglas County Receiving a generous gift of over $5,000.

We had quite the surprise Monday when Frank Moran and Terry Henley stopped by with a check for over $5,000 to help our affiliate build homes in Douglas County. Last Friday, the St. John Vianney Knights of Columbus Council hosted a fish fry that raised $2,623 for our affiliate. Modern Woodmen of America matched their generosity with an additional $2,500!

Frank Moran serves on the Board of Directors for NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and is also a member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church and their Knights of Columbus Council, which held the fish fry.

Terry Henley is employed by Modern Woodmen of America and was instrumental in getting the matching funds. Ms. Henley is a humble person who likes to work behind the scenes. Guess we were lucky to catch her on camera. Thank you, Terry!

Our heartfelt thanks to both St. John Vianney Knights of Columbus Council and the Modern Woodmen of America for their commitment to building affordable homes, communities and hope in Douglas County. We are proud to have them as members of our Habitat family. Bless you!
